有时我们听到:“You are in time.” 但我们也听人讲:“ You are on time.”
“in time” 是及时。
例子:
1.“Oh! The meeting is going to start soon, I am just in time.”
“哦!会议将要在不久后开始,我正好赶上。”
2. “ She would have died if the doctor had not treated her in time.”
“如果医生没有及时医治她,她早就死了!”
“on time”准时。
例子:
1. The meeting will start on time.
2.I am just on time for the interview.
还有," in the end "或" at the end “ 又有什么不同呢?
In the end 是“终于”而 at the end 是“到了最后”的意思。
In the end, I got a visa to China.
The movie was quite excited at the end.
不管是in the end 还是 at the end,两者差异不大,相互掉换来用,不是问题,可接受的。
