不少人把produce 当着动词而忽略了它也是名词。当名词时，它的意思是农作物或农产品。
其实，产品可分为工厂出品(Manufactured Goods)和农作物(agricultural produce)。
如果你要表达我国出产稻米。它就是：Our country produces paddy.
你也可说： Rice is the produce of our country. 但你不可说：Rice is the product of our country.
反过来说，如果你要说我国制造电器产品。你就说：Our country manufactures electrical goods.
你也可说: Electrical goods is the product of our country. 不要说成 produce
Electrical goods is the product of our country (wrong)
