学生问我“used to ” “got used”，和“be + used to”的不同点。

1．“USED TO ”是过去语法，是指某个事件或习惯已成了过去，如今不再有！

例如：

I used to drink coffee but I stopped it few months ago.

我以前习惯喝咖啡，但在几个月前我已经停止喝了。

Alex used to take bus to work but now he drives to work.

亚历克斯通常是乘坐公车上班，但现在他开车上班了,

There used to be a park here but now it has changed into a shopping mall.

这个地方曾经是公园，但现在它已经变成了一个购物商场。

John used to live in London.

约翰曾经住在伦敦。 （现在约翰已没在伦敦住了）

2．“GET USED”是表达某个事件，某动作将逐渐成为习惯。

I got used to eating spicy food after I had stayed in Malaysia

逗留在马来西亚后，我习惯吃辛辣食物。

The shoes are too tight but I will get used to it after wearing for few days.

鞋子太紧，但我穿了几天后，我就习惯了！

3．“be + used to ”是指某事或某种动作是正常的，不是稀罕的。

He is used to sleeping at 2 every morning.

他每天清晨两点睡。

Mr Tan is used to working on Sunday.

陈先生每逢周日就工作。

须注意的是“ Be + used to”和 “ get used to”的后面是 名词（noun）或 动名词 （gerund）。动名词 （gerund）就是动词加上 ING 如 working, sleeping, walking, living, smoking等等。
