请你填上这张表格。 听了很多人这样讲：“Please fill up this application form.”

如果你查字典，你会发现正确的用词是：“Please fill out his application form.”

Fill up 是适合用于物体转移的举动，如 “Can you fill up this cart with the groceries? ”

“I need some water to fill up this bottle.”

Fill up 和 fill out是 英语的  phrasal words。 Phrasal words 是动词加上介词（verb + preposition）。

要学好英语不让人对你说的话有任何的误解，短词语Phrasal words的认识是很重要的。

例子：你怎样说把这个交给他。“Please pass over to him.” 这句多了over 意思完全不一样而另有其它的意思了！pass over 是越过，不理了。

去书店买一本好字典，你会得益很多。
