我把这文件交给他。 英语是：“ I passed this document to him.”

我把这文件交上了。英语是：“ I handed this document.。”

有时候，我们会以华语的翻译讲。“ I passed up this document to him。”或“I passed the document over to him。”　

我们须注意的是在英语中 动词 (VERB) 加了介词（PREPOSITION）就变了短语动词(Phrasal Verb) ，它将与原本的动词 (VERB)的意思不同了。

如“ 传递”在英语是“pass”，“上”在英语是“up”，交上了文件用英语“ I passed up this document to him。”，没错！

但　pass up　还有其他的意思，如没被看上，没被选上。

如：在这次的升职甄拔，公司没选了他。

He was passed up by the company for the selection of promotion. 在这里，pass up 不是传递上而是没被看上，没被选上。

还有，从这边交至另一边，不能用pass over.　我把文件交给另一个部门了。你不能说：“ I passed over the document to the other department。”

Pass over 还有另个意思，它是忽视，拒绝的意思。

如： I shall pass over your previous faults.

我不管你以前的错误。
