hanged or hung

Hang  的意思是吊。它的(Past Tense )过去式是hanged 和  hung.

必须指出这两者的(Past Tense )过去式的意思却有很大的不同，不要错用而弄出笑话。

如个要形容，吊衣服，吊东西，它的过去式是 hung 不是hanged。

He hung his photo onto the wall.

Jeaniffer hung her clothes in the cupboard.

Hanged 的意思是上吊，吊死。

The old man hanged himself when his children were all out.

The judge passed the sentence of hanging to death on the criminal who killed his victims during the robbery.   The criminal was hanged to death.
