on 和 onto 有什么不同？

请把书放在桌子上。听到许多这样用英语讲：“Please put the book on the table”.

其实，这是错的翻译。应该是：“Please put the book onto the table.”

On 和onto 有什么不同。

如果把某东西从某地方移动至另一个地方，onto 才是正确的字。

On  是不动的。如  The book is on the table.  书本在桌子上。（不动）

Put the book onto the table.  句子中的 Onto 有动向的表达。

犹如：某人掉入河里了。英语是 Someone fell into the river.

某人在河里。英语是 someone was in the river.
