Drinking two glasses of water is enough.

以上的句子，第一题是对，那么第二题的句子中用了 is 来配two glasses of water是对还是错？two glasses of water 是两杯，难道不是用are吗？

对，two glasses of water 是两杯，是用are！

但句子的重点是drinking不是水的数量所以不管是一杯，两杯，三杯还是用is

Drinking is enough. 在句子中加了 两杯水，is 还是用上了

Drinking two glasses of water is enough.

看看下面的例子：

Sleeping for eight hours is good for health.

Working for more than 10 years is tedious.

Waiting for more than two hours makes me mad.

Swimming in the pool for hours in a fine weather makes him relaxed.
