PAST TENSE VS PAST PERFECT TENSE

Past tense 过去式和 Past Perfect tense 过去完成式的用法和分别在那里？

那就看你能否分辨出以下的不同吗？

He went there and she left. 过去式 （PAST TENSE ）

He went there and she had left. 过去完成式 ( PAST PERFECT TENSE )

如果我用华语来翻译上面的句子，它们是

He went there and she left.他去到那边，她离开了。

这段句子，没有很明确的解释 （1）他到那边先呢？（2）还是她先离开？（3）或者他一到，女的就离开！

但如果是第二句子，它用了Past Perfect tense 过去完成式，情况就很明显！

He went there and she had left. 这句子的翻译是他去到那边时，她已经离开。（两者都没碰过面）

Past Perfect tense 过去完成式 的用法和要点就是表达先完成的事；在过去的时间所做的，所发生的，用Past Perfect tense来表达吧！

记得Past Perfect tense 须用 had 加 past participle 过去分词； 如 had written , had gone, had sung 等。
