Slogans and Banners.....

In Penang, you can see many banners hanging on the lamp-posts with “ Cleaner and Greener Penang”.

In Penang, the state government led by Democratic Action Party ( DAP) has been shouting high and low ,” Competency, Accountability, Transparency” or abbreviated as “ CAT”.

Banners can be seen and slogans can be heard, but do you think the Penang Government ruled by Pakatan Harapan really efficient and transparent in the eyes of public.

No, the answer is definitely “ NO”.

Deforestation, leveling of hilly areas, felling of trees, reclamation of land from the sea are the daily norm. Green pasture becomes lesser with the passage of days and “ Botak hills” is visible from far.

As for the slogan of “ CAT”, many controversial issues have been popping up but the Penang state government have consistently contradicted themselves by giving different versions of explanation. Where is the competency? So Penangites , please don’t be fooled by the words written on the banner and shouts of the slogans.
