Ramp vs Wheel chair lift

The important elements of friendly environment and accessibility for OKU or disabled people are convenience and free movement without or with minimum of hindrance. One of the shopping malls in Penang had demolished the ramp for the disabled people and replaced with the so-called wheel chair lift.

Is it convenient for the use of disabled people? Are movements of the disabled people being hindered ? What is disgusting the demolishment of the ramp is meant for VIP parking where the Management of the mall collect fees at the expense of the disabled !

How can the ramp be removed and Wheel chair lift installed?

Surely it must be approved by Perbandaran Pulau Pinang
